Marina Davydova, the leading Russian theatre critic and NET festival curator, will talk about the tendencies in contemporary theatre beyond its national borders and about the demolition of barriers within theatre area itself inclusive of modern art, esthetics and politics.
Alongside with the lecture there will be presented a new book by M. Davydova called “Zero Culture. Features of Russian Life and European Stage”(2017) which includes articles, essays and reviews on the most prominent modern theatre plays.
