What happens to the theatre in the 21st century and why isn’t it going to die? Where does the theatre move from and where to? Where does the main action take place today: on the stage or inside your head?

Not long ago, any lecture or seminar would start with these questions. But over the past few months, the picture has dramatically changed. What happens to the theatre in times of upheaval? Over the past months, we got used to watching performances online. What minimal knowledge do we require for this? How and what content should we choose on the internet, so we wouldn't have to feel robbed? And the main question: how can we return to the theatre hall later? Which theatre is becoming a thing of the past before our eyes, and which one is even more in demand than before?

You will be able to visit not only lectures, but also practical classes, where you will learn to analyse plays and performances, think about the role of a director and his duties in our days. You will even try to write about the theatre in different genres: from reviews to posts and tweets. And in the process you will ponder why do we need theatre critics and if we need them at all.
